Getting Your Website Project Started.
We meet with clients at their home or office to learn
abit about their business and to see what they can supply
for the website design and development. The client supplies
us with a word document including the text for each page
and the images to be used on each page. We view templates
that could be used for the clients new website. We can
then estimate the time required to design the website
... and the cost of the website development. |
We
also show the client how they will be editing/up-dating
their website by visiting one of our websites hosted in
a CMS hosting account. We will change the text on a page
and the image on the page to one we upload from the clients
computer. The client will understand completely how to
make changes to their website before the website is even
built. We also provide the client with image editing software
so they can place clear, sharp and properly sized images
on their website whenever they want to change the original
images. We also show clients a variety of ways that their
images can be displayed.
In this first meeting with the client we layout the homepage
and create the "templete" that will be used
for the other website pages. We chose the background for
the pages at this time as well. After the website is completed
the backgrounds can easily be changed by the client without
our help.
We will purchase the domain name and arrange for the hosting
account during this first meeting as well. Then, if the
client has the text and images ready for the website development,
we can create the website and have it visible online generally
within 10 days or so ... subject to the number and complexity
of the the website pages required.
After we have designed & created a new website for
a client we know they will review it many times and want
to edit at least the text on the pages of their website.
The client will want to reduce or expand on the paragraphs
on their pages and won't need to hire us for the changes
... they will be able to make the changes from any computer
.... anywhere ... that has an internet connection. |

We
also add the search engine optimization coding to each
of the website pages. This helps the website get alot
more viewers by having the website ranked well by Google,
Yahoo and the other major search engines. On 99% of "Build-It-Yourself"
websites effective search engine optimization coding cannot
be added to the webpages in any way. Those "Build-It-Yourself"
websites generally only offer "old-style" templates
that are narrow and to the left side of any browser window.
This greatly reduces the amount of information that you
can put on a webpage and the images on each page have
to be smaller as well. Every month we have several website
owners approach us to rebuild their websites for them
as they are getting little or no traffic from the website
they built themselves because the website contains no
search engine optimization coding. Every week that a website
is not working for you ... is another week that you are
loosing business to other local businesses and your competitors.
We believe that todays small business owners need an affordable
